Branding and visual identity redesign, UI/UX design, website design

Since 2006, the Meditation Research Program’s interdisciplinary projects, spanning top institutions, seek to advance the scientific understanding of meditation for individual well-being and societal health. Their current studies explore the transformative potential of advanced meditation in particular, aiming to redefine its impact on mental health and well-being.

Our team partnered with Matthew D. Sacchet, Ph.D. (Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School), to develop a brand that would step back and allow the groundbreaking nature of the work his team was undertaking. Working together, we created an identity to showcase that technical research with clean lines and classic typefaces, leveraging a more muted color palette while allowing for some pop – with illustrative work and testimonial callouts.

The team at ECH Design built the website designs on top of a custom WordPress theme to allow Matthew’s team to update as new studies are released easily, and we helped to create a presentation deck using the new brand to highlight the transformative work for potential investors and partners.
